Analytics Engineer

Description:
We are seeking an Analytics Engineer to work cross-functionally with business domain specialists, analytics, and engineering teams. Your focus will be on designing and implementing logical data models that enable comprehensive reporting, interactive dashboards, and insights across our Finance and Commercial business units.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, build, publish, and maintain performant and reliable single sources of truth for data models and pipelines with high data quality standards.
- Partner with IT and Engineering teams to drive efficient and accurate data integration.
- Securely manage internal BI tools, emphasizing self-service analytics and dashboards.
- Build automation to streamline manual operations and improve overall efficiency.
- Deliver reports to monitor functional KPIs, surface operational insights, and drive recommendations for business performance improvement.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications
- Requires 2+ years of experience in analytics engineering, data analysis, business intelligence, data architecture, or a related field.
- Demonstrates the ability to write clean, performant, and scalable SQL.
- Possesses proven experience in data modeling concepts, ETL processes, and data quality principles.
- Has experience building in one or more BI tools (e.g., Looker, Data Studio, Tableau, Superset) and using version control.
- Exhibits strong communication and interpersonal skills to translate complex technical concepts for business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with DBT, Dataform or other semantic modeling layers (ie: Looker/lookml).
- Experience with data ingestion and workflow orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, etc).
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with startup mentality.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $128,000 - $181,000 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
