Data Engineer

We are seeking a full-time AWS Data Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. In this role, you will design data pipelines to curate sourced data into the Redshift data warehouse, build and maintain data pipelines and data platforms with tools such as Airflow and AWS Glue, and explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability.

Your responsibilities will also include developing analytical tooling to better support BI and Advanced Data Analytics activities and promoting and championing data engineering standards and best-in-class methodology.

You should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, with 1-3 years of hands-on experience in data engineering with AWS services (S3, EMR, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift). You should also have strong SQL and programming skills (Python or Java), experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT frameworks, data warehousing, and BI concepts, and familiarity with data warehouses and databases such as Snowflake, PostgreSQL, MS SQL, MySQL, and Redshift.

A good understanding of web protocols (HTTP, FTP), web services (REST APIs), data analysis, and data science concepts is required, along with strong critical-thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are a must.
