Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer on our team, you’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the migration of dbt models from Redshift and Snowflake to Trino (Iceberg). Your contributions will ensure seamless data transitions and maintain high-quality, efficient, and scalable data models that align with our evolving infrastructure.

• Support the migration of dbt models from Redshift and Snowflake to Trino (Iceberg), ensuring compatibility and best practices
• Update and fix SQL syntax in dbt models to align with Trino syntax
• Use Git for version controlling dbt models and ensure consistency
• Refactor and optimize data models with a focus on Iceberg architecture
• Align data sources with the new infrastructure, particularly Tableau assets
• Collaborate with workbook owners and analytics team to test and validate models
• Actively participate in daily standups and help prioritize migration tasks
