We are seeking a forward-thinking and motivated Associate Data Scientist with a passion for artificial intelligence (AI) to help shape the future of data-driven decision-making in healthcare.

In this role, you will leverage the power of AI and machine learning to build intelligent solutions that enhance patient outcomes, improve operational efficiency, and support our mission to detect cancer earlier and save lives.

As part of our data science team, you will design, develop, and deploy AI-driven models and systems that solve complex problems across a range of business priorities—including predictive analytics, personalized patient insights, and intelligent automation of critical workflows. You’ll work closely with cross-functional partners to translate business challenges into scalable AI solutions, helping to transform raw data into actionable intelligence.

Essential Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Apply machine learning, deep learning, and artificial intelligence techniques to uncover patient behavioral insights, improve healthcare delivery, and drive financial sustainability.
  • Analyze patient and healthcare datasets to identify trends, optimize interventions, and align services with evolving patient needs.
  • Use advanced analytics methods to extract value from business data.
  • Visualize information and develop reports on results of data analysis.
  • Influence product teams through presentation of data-based recommendations.
  • Ability to communicate complex results to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies on the job.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Desire to work in a highly collaborative environment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field; or High School Degree/General Education Diploma and 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree; or Associate Degree and 2 years of relevant experience.
  • 2+ years of experience working with large datasets for drawing business insights.
  • 2+ years of experience working with SQL in an analytics capacity.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge in Python or R.
  • Professional working knowledge of machine learning.
  • Professional working knowledge of statistics and modeling techniques.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in science, technology, engineering, mathematics, or related field of study.
  • Professional working knowledge with Natural Language Processing, Information Retrieval, or Recommender Systems.
  • Professional working knowledge with distributed computing and big data technologies such as Spark or related technologies.
  • Experience in cloud environments.

Salary and compensation

$85,000 - $135,000 per year
