We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will work on designing, developing, and implementing data-driven solutions using AI and machine learning models to help Executive Intelligence team’s initiatives that support the RBI brands. You will collaborate with brands to understand their challenges and cross-functional teams to analyze data, build predictive models, and generate actionable insights that drive business intelligence and operational success.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
• Analyze data to detect anomalies and outliers that could impact the accuracy of models and insights.
• Visualize data insights using tools like Tableau or Python libraries (Matplotlib, Seaborn).
• Assist in designing and building machine learning models to solve business challenges.
• Implement predictive analytics and classification models under the guidance of senior team members.
• Help deploy and test models in production systems to ensure performance and reliability.
• Work closely with senior data engineers and product managers to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Collaborate with the data engineering team to create and maintain data pipelines and ensure data readiness for ML models.
• Provide data-driven insights and support to stakeholders through detailed reports and presentations.
• Stay up to date with the latest trends, tools, and advancements in AI, ML, and data science.
• Participate in team brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to improve processes and solutions.
• Learn and experiment with new techniques and algorithms to enhance models and workflows.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis and model building.
• Experience and/or familiarity with machine learning libraries such as Scikit-learn, ARIMA, Prophet, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Sound knowledge of SQL and working with relational databases.
• Understanding of statistical methods, data preprocessing, and feature engineering.
• Basic knowledge on DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, GitHub.
• Academic project experience in data science or machine learning.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) is a plus.
• Familiarity with Snowflake data warehouse is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies.
