About the team
We boldly innovate to maximize Worldpay’s usage of data assets to create market-leading payment optimization products and solutions. We combine high knowledge of the data, advanced analytics, machine learning algorithms, and augmented intelligence to drive value through data-driven decisions for Worldpay and our customers.
What you will be doing
- Use quantitative and statistical methods to explore data and extract actionable insights from our payment data. Leverage machine learning, statistical modelling, and quantitative analysis to create intelligent, data-driven products.
- Analyse and extract actionable insights from internal and external data.
- Employ machine learning and statistical modelling to create and enhance data-driven products.
- Develop intelligent payment products and continuously integrate and deploy into a microservice-based product platform.
- Work with a variety of data science tools and programming languages.
- Work independently and collaborate with other stakeholders to build product prototypes and solve complex business problems.
What you bring
- Proficient in data science tools and programming languages such as Python, R, SQL, Snowflake, and Databricks.
- Strong analytics and knowledge in machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modelling, data visualization, and data analysis.
- Proficiency in solutions design and requirements.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to technical and non-technical audiences of various levels in the organization, e.g., executive, management, individual contributors.
- Delivery-oriented team player who takes responsibility for the team’s success and strives to continually learn and improve.
Education Requirements
- Masters with 1 year of data science experience or PhD in Applied Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science or the equivalent combination of education, training, and work experience.
Added bonus if you have:
- Knowledge of the financial services industry, especially payment processing.
- Ability to persuade and influence others on the best approach.
Salary and compensation
$115,590 - $194,180 per yearBenefits
